I hope my thousands of subscribers have not overlooked the new audio delights on myspace...

I had the privilege of catching teen wolf this weekend wherein Larry Bird’s cousin Charlie Bird makes a cameo appearance.  Only a true Byrd can pull off eating an apple while playing in a basketball game.  (see illustration“eatin while playin, “ ff. my refrigerator.)

After a few drinks last night I acquired the knowledge of the French language for precisely 3 hours.  The next morning I discovered that not only was the French gone, but so was the complete memory of my experience the night before.  What a strange and elusive language...

Everyone better have a safe holiday.  I/We hope to see you soon...perhaps the 31st at Antone's?

A wise man once told me "keep on keepin' on."   I trust that you will.

Namaste, you guys.  I hope you have found our new remix of cannons on myspace a delight.  Lars continues to out-Lars himself, and, I believe, has a personal jurisdiction over the laws that govern the science of sound. 

I trust all of you had a thoroughly enjoyable Yourewelcometaking holiday.  Turkeylust encourages a spirit of thankfulness.  And to that I say, “You’re welcome.”  In less literal terms, I responded to the holiday declaration with doing nothing as hard as I possibly could in hopes that a metaphorical “conversation” might appease the holiday spirit and thereby proliferate my powers.

Paul Simon once asked me, “Drew, do you ever find it hard to be a drummer?” Yes, Paul. Yes. Playing drums can most aptly be expressed via the novel The Queen of Spades by Alexander Pushkin.  I’m Hermann, drums are Lizaveta Ivanovna. figure it out.  

There are rumors that we have a tentative slash written in stone release date for our album... I can't quite tell you until I get the go ahead from Todd, but it rhymes with 'crebulary fwenty herd.'
